This year the Children's Book Week runs from 17th – 23th August 2019 and asks your children over 8 years old to embrace the theme “Reading is My Secret Power.” Which is an exciting invitation to escape into another world where your child can be anything they want to be!

With that comes with a world full of possibilities when it comes to book week costume ideas.

We are expecting this year people will attend it as Peter Pan, Matilda, and Harry Potter. Of course Where is Wally, Dorothy from Wizard of Oz, Fantastic Mr Fox, and Alice from Wonderland which are always favourites.

Now if your kid wants to become a villain for the day – they could be a Priate, Cruella de Vil, an evil Slytherin, the Queen of Hearts, or even the Wicked Witch of the West.

For those superhero enthusiasts, we expect capes and masks to be popular as kids let their imagination runs wild so they can create a superhero costume all their own.
