Children's Book Week Dress Up Costumes
Make the Story Come Alive During “Children's Book Week” - 17th to 24th August 2018.
Each year across Australia, the Children’s Book Council of Australia brings children and books together to celebrate Children's Book Week. In many Primary Schools, Australia wide hold parades and dress-up days for children over 8 years old.
This year The Children’s Book Council of Australia has chosen the theme ‘Find Your Treasure'. So when thinking about treasure, it could be at Hogwarts, the land of Oz, under the sea, or maybe in outer space!
We are expecting this year people will attend it as Pirates and Harry Potter, Where is Wally, Dorothy from Wizard of Oz, Fantastic Mr Fox are always favourites.
We also have a large range of Animal Headbands and Masks, which are a cheap and popular alternative to a full costume. This way your kid can be Mr Fox or Koala from Fantastic Mr Fox.
Now, just because Book Week is done in kid’s schools doesn’t mean that adults can’t join in on the fun. Why not host your own event to celebrate Book Week. Adults like having the excuse to dress up and be someone else too.
Once you know who you want to be this coming Book Week then search for that costumer now. If you are still not sure or you need some amazing costume ideas check out all the Book Week costumes to decide.
